2011 BSAA D1 Rules

All D1 non-participation teams are to follow all BSAA rulebook rules except for the following as noted…

• Non-BSAA teams (separate organization charter) who want to participate in the D1 league, but not needing equipment will be allowed to do so for a fee of TBD (this fee is to cover insurance, referees, lights, facilities maintenance, etc.).
• Practice time allotment will be limited to 6hrs of full contact and 2 additional hours of non-contact practice within a week’s time.
• No restrictions to amount of game player time.
• Players will be restricted to only playing on one team at a time and cannot play on any other team(s) or any other league(s).
• All coaches will be approved by the BSAA board.  For out-of-area teams, the team manager will  be required have to pass background check and obtain NYSCA certification before the out-of-area team is approved.
• Teams will consist of 15-18 players with an open formation format.
• BSAA D1 non-participation teams declare roster, with parent signature on league registration form, birth certificate, grade card, and photo ID by midnight May 15^th.  Note: rosters will be final at this time and non-BSAA D1 teams may need an extended time frame.
